"Though dinner was to be served soon, Alis had a cup of molten chocolate brought up and refused to do anything until I had a few sips. It was the best thing I'd ever tasted."
Ingredients
Molten chocolate
- 6.4 ounces 70% dark chocolate, chopped
- 2 cups whole milk
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
Instructions
Step 1
Warm milk over medium-low heat in a medium-sized saucepan. Once the milk is warm, reduce temperature to low and whisk in all of the sugar. Keep on low heat and add chocolate a handful at a time - whisking continually.
Step 2
To thicken the chocolate bring it to a low boil over medium high heat - whisk continually for several minutes. Remove from heat and serve in small cups. Top with whipped cream and Ceylon cinnamon.
